University of Kentucky Conference on Economic and Politcal Inequality

On March 27th at 7:30 pm at Memorial Hall, listen to Ellen Goodman, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist lecture: “Inequality: Working Moms, Designated Daughters, and the Risks of Caregiving. On the following day, Friday March 28th, attend an action packed Conference with nationally recognized speakers: Prof. Ron Eller, UK: Inequality in Appalachia (with attention to racial issues). Prof. Bruce Laurie, UMass Emeritus, The Decline of Unions and the Rise of Inequality; Prof. David Courtwright, University of North Florida: The Culture War and the Rise of Inequality; Dean Baker, Center for Economic and Policy Research: Inequality, Causes, Consequences.
